Smooth Germanium Warmth. Wild Distortion. Total Control.
Gorilla Drive V2 brings the rich, harmonically dense character of classic germanium overdrive into your DAW, delivering everything from smooth analog warmth to thick, aggressive distortion. Built to add weight, grit, and attitude without sacrificing the dynamics that make your sound come alive, Gorilla is your go-to beast for colorful saturation.
Now featuring a brand-new Transient Shaper, independent Low and High drive stages, and the wild Ape Mode, V2 gives you more creative control than ever before. Whether you're adding subtle warmth to vocals, thickening bass, or completely destroying a drum bus, Gorilla Drive V2 makes distortion feel like an instrument of its own.
Germanium-Style Overdrive - Add smooth, harmonically rich saturation inspired by classic analog circuits.
New Transient Shaper - Shape the balance between attack and sustain, from sharp, punchy transients to thick, sustained body.
Independent Low & High Drive - Control saturation across low and high frequencies separately for deeper warmth or brighter, more aggressive distortion.
Ape Mode - Unleash extra distortion and compression when your sound needs to go completely wild.
Tone Tilt Control - Shift the overall frequency balance from dark and heavy to bright and cutting with a single control.
Input Drive & Output Trim - Push your saturation while keeping output levels under control.
Blend Control - Mix your clean and distorted signals for powerful parallel saturation without losing punch.
Battery Emulation - Simulate a worn-out power supply for unstable, vintage-inspired grit and character.
Smart Gain & Link Gain - Maintain consistent loudness and effortless gain staging while exploring different distortion settings.
A/B Comparison - Instantly compare different drive settings to find your perfect sound.
Short-Term LUFS Metering - Monitor perceived loudness directly inside the plugin.
New Preset System - Find your sound faster with folders, tags, favorites, and search.
Oversampling - Enjoy cleaner processing with reduced aliasing.
Sometimes your sound needs a little warmth. Sometimes it needs to go completely bananas.
Gorilla Drive V2 gives you the freedom to do both. With its smooth germanium-inspired saturation, powerful transient shaping, and independent frequency drive controls, you can add character and aggression while keeping the punch and movement of your original performance.
From warming up vocals and thickening bass to adding serious attitude to drums, guitars, synths, and entire mix buses, Gorilla Drive V2 turns ordinary sounds into something full of personality.
More character. More punch. More monkey business.
