Cubby is our dreamy take on the golden age of home keyboards. Bright, simple, and unapologetically fun, it captures that early digital magic where every sound felt new and every keypress felt like a small surprise. Pick a tone, flip on the arp, add springy space, then drift things out with detune and width until it feels like a forgotten keyboard theme from another timeline. 

Cubby is the first release in SuperKeys, a growing line of playful instruments inspired by the sounds that made us fall in love with keyboards in the first place.

Sound Set

Plugin Requirements

  • 2 GHz Intel dual core processor or AMD equivalent (PC)
  • 8 GB of RAM (16 GB recommended)
  • Mac OS X 10.15 or higher • Windows 8 and above

Safari Audio creates software instruments and effects. No physical hardware is included. Cubby is inspired by classic home keyboards and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any hardware manufacturer.

How to Install & Activate

Getting started is quick and straightforward. After your purchase, here’s what to do:

  1. You’ll receive a download link by email immediately after checkout.
  2. A separate email with your personal serial number will arrive shortly after (usually within a few minutes).
  3. On macOS, run the installer for the plugins you want to install. On Windows, place the plugin files in your VST and or AAX folders.
  4. Open your DAW and load the plugin as you normally would.
  5. When prompted, enter your serial number and confirm.
  6. You’re ready to go.

Note: Serial emails can take up to 4–5 minutes to arrive. Please check your spam folder if you don’t see it.

Each license can be activated on up to 3 computers.
